which char design should i use for my story
 

I usually draw monsters, buffed guys in action pose or chibi's. but for this summer vacation i decided to make a romance/shool genre manga and realized i suck in making characters for appropriate for the genre.

So i decided to adapt style, so far i was able to sort them in two types
my problem now is i cant decide which one is appropriate for my story

1st Marginal Prince, Prince of tennis, most yaoi style(long face, broad shoulder males and regular eyes females)
2nd clannad,school days, ef type(smaller shoulder males and large eyes)
Here is my "attempt" . Which is more appropriate to use?

The story is a romance/school genre and im planning on inserting some comedy lines along the way
heres a synopsis

Three very close 3rd year students falls in love with the same 1st year girl.
Each of them have their own problems/circumstances with love that prevents them from confessing their own feelings

If it was me, I'd probably go for the second one. He looks more fitting for the genre, whereas the first one looks slightly serious, a bit too much for a lighthearted romance manga ^-^ But that's just my opinion :D

hmm thx didnt got much reply so i will design my chars based on that after i finish digesting 3gb of reference materials

Lovly Drama... guess sometimes fiction is a picture of reality... right now I`m in "LOVE INTEREST" :rheart: with... with.... (this story will continue)...:D

the story im planning to do is based on my personal experience:D im not really the romantic type of guy so personal experience is the source of idea for my story just have to exaggerate a bit.

in this case me and both my bestfriend, in our last year(16) in highschool really fell for the same 1st year girl(13)
Now that i think about it we all have lolicon:eek:

I finish my Cinematografic Studies and know how to write movie scripts, I guess Reality is the sourse of the ideas.. and the ideas the sourse of reality.

maybe sometime the fantasy is just another dimention of reality and find a path to jump from "Ideas" to "Reality" in form of Art... Hope read your work once you finish it.:vsign:

I would use the second one but i really like the first maybe you could put him somewhee else in the story?

probably for adult males. for teachers probably
the one im thinking about it is for the male leads

anyway how old are are the last year highshool students
and also the first year student?
