Swiftant's trauma part 2
 

"Why don't you just shut up, bitch. You know it's redundant to utilize me as another one of your cards of destruction-", i refuse Shakura bluntly but she cuts me off, so i make with scowling at her.

"If i were you I'd mind my tongue, Swift.., you're neglecting your current position and are in denial of your mishap.."

"Only my friends are permitted to call me by that name.. and you're not authorized.", i tell her briefly. For a moment there, Shakura seems speechless. However, it doesn't take a dragon like her long to regain her composure and retaliate.

"Insolent fool..! Stop deluding yourself and cast away all those disillusions! Has it ever occured to you that if i hadn't given you the lightning jewel, you would have long been smothered by those whom you now consider as allies?", Shakura roars louder than ever.

"Heh.. claim whatever you want Shakura.., you shouldn't cry over spilt milk..", i smirk at her.

"I was hoping you would feel the same way because i've already dispatched Thrandos and the four elite dragons to lie in ambush for your buddies..", she whispers gleefully, "And even if they do make it past them.., I'll bet my reputation on the rest of my 100000 dragons' triumph over your little pals.."

Thinking: No sons of shakura will ever be able to overcome the intimate bond we have for each other..

I agitatedly lift my head higher, red sparks practically oozing from my eyes.

"A monument of me shall be build in every country and i shall create a world of ultimate perfection where only the fittest survive and worship me!", shakura conceitedly cries, clearly ignoring me. As quick as lightning, she whips her dragonhead around towards me again, her wild eyes quivering with an uncontrollable excitment of domination.

Thinking: Shit it.. that is almost precisely what Thrandos told me earlier on..

"Oh and Swiftant, i can guarantee your friends' survival if you agree to join me in the conquest of this pathetic world. If by some miracle, they manage to defeat Thrandos and the four elite dragons, then i'll let you send them off instead of my dragon army. Their fate will be in your hands, Swiftant..", Shakura shallowly promises.

In a dilemna, i punch the ground, channeling all my frustrations into it, leaving a two-foot hole in the ground which becomes electrified immediately. Conscience pricks me like rose thorn stuck in my heart, but i don't want anything hazardous happening to Tatsu and the others. Even if it is a lie, it's a once in a lifetime chance i'll have to risk. A despicable power like Shakura is too prominent to stand up to. I'd much rather have my life smeared by her obnoxiousity than watch helplessly as my friends' bodies get decapitated.
I accept Shakura's offer and disappear into the shadows by her side.
