Dom1234's photography and deviantart (warning, Wallpaper size!)

So yeah, I've got my deviantart account (dom1234 on deviantART).

I suck at drawing, but I do like photography. Being a biology student, I have a lot of occasions to make nature related photography (most of the time I do macro). By example, this autumn I have a mushroom's identification class, so expect a lot of mushimushi!

Drosera anglica, a deadly and beautiful carnivorous plant. It's sticky red hair are sweet and shiny, the perfect bait for flies. Once glued, the fly will be directed toward the center of the leaf to be digested. This pic is from my peat bog in my backyard (Québec, Canada).

It is located in Old Québec (old town), Québec city, Québec, Canada.Old Quebec is the only city in North America with fortified walls (400 years old) that surround it. This year Quebec is celebrating it's 400 th anniversary.

A grey alleycat, looking into the deepest corner of your soul, seeing what nobody should see, your dark secrets. It will not speak of them to anyone, but it knows, HE knows, about them. And that alone, makes you guilty.

The blue mist slowly took the place of sunlight, leaving nothing else but silence.

These are the eyes of my classmates in TBE.

No... I cannot guess which one is your eye, but none-the-less, these pictures are beautiful. I love the cats, their eyes are just so... Well, cool, I guess, for lack of a better word at the moment.

About the eyes... What's going on with the one that's almost litterally red? Does that come out as a shade of brown in person, or what?

dom1234 09-06-2008 06:25 PM

Well, I see it more brown than red, but yes, it's probably a genetic trait.
