I didn't see a thread for this when I searched so I figured I'd make one ^^

So, what kind of things have you made? In the more sewing, crochet, cross-stitch area? I like making all kinds of things though I usually only make things from patterns I found online. Though the heart, I made a few minutes ago, was my own pattern ^-^

Yay, it's actually recognizable haha. Yeah, it's kinda flat because I didn't have polyfill at the time so I used fabric scraps.

I'm working on a heart collection. I'm sewing felt hearts (like the first one) and I'm going to sell them probably. So far I have a regular heart (above), a key to my heart, and I'm working on a broken heart.

The only thing I have stitched together is a mole project for Chemistry class. We had to do a themed mole for mole-day and I did a Native American theme seemed the easiest theme to do. I put everything on him and I even made his pants. The pants have real horse hair to imitate the deer skin. I named him Chief Red Cloud after the chief but I don't know why. He use to have a spirit stick with beads, shells, and feathers but it fell off and I couldn't find it. I won first place out of 16 of us and he won me 50pts on a test.

The layout was farely simple if I had it I could have given it to you but that was like 2 years ago so I don't have it anymore. He is cute that is why I have him on top of the dresser.

Aw poo, oh well. These hearts get really annoying to sew after a while. Haha

I could probably get the layout. I could email one of the teachers an ask. I graduated last year so I don't know if the chem teacher is still there.

Well....I have made some more hearts...the first picture is all of them together and then some of my favorite ones (Which sadly got stolen from my purse today at school by my friends :( Oh well....it jus tmeans I have to make more)

I know right? I found the pattern on DeviantArt by searching Onigiri Pattern (sadly, I lost the link when my internet went sploosh and delelted everything)

How about outfits? Do they count too? I made my lolita dress a while back...it took me two weeks because I did it all by hand. (*remembers the stabbing pains*) I did make Kingdom Hearts pillowcases, but I don't have pics of those. I'll post my dress tho....

^.^ Nope. Well, I did use a base dress that had been hanging in my closet for a while, but it only had straps, so I had to make the top half of the dress. (which took forever) I was so afraid that it wouldn't be done by Halloween. LOL

Haha, that's still so awesome. I wanna make one *looks at clothes pitifully* except I aint got a suutable dress

The next one is going to be a sweet lolita dress...but I'll have to make all of the dress. I don't have a base this time. LOL ^.^ (I do have a sewing machine now)

times. . . I want the pajama pants
though so I have to learn how to do

lol, yea, pricking your finger hurts >.< lately I've been ok though, i'm gettin faster with certain ways of sewing. Embroidery sewing is really suckish but just loops are good ^-^

Oh goodness, I'm starting at the basics.
Back stitch and the such . . . the simple ones.
We learned how to do hems today.
And mine were suckish, cause I had white thread
on white fabric so I kept missing where I needed
to go.

Haha, I use a sewing machine for clothes making. And get my mom to do the hem cus it's an epic fail when I attempt

Hand sewing is hard.
It's funny because the one thing I have the most
trouble with is the first beginning knot haha.

I have trouble ending it off lol so I just loop it and tuck it under

Yeah, I still dont get how to do that either,
I just kind of spin it around whatever is left and do a knot thingy.
=D

Haha. I think I invented my own way of endin it and startin it cus my mom gives me weird looks when I do it

lol, i took ag this year. I figured, well I can make stuff and cook already but cant weld and barely cut things so im gonna stick with that lol

I could've taken that class..but I'm not one to get my hands dirty, unless forced. LOL I do work on cars. ^.^ Of course when you look @ me, I don't really look like the kind of person you'd see as a mechanic.
