Since we seem to be creating clans and I can't be in the 'Awesome' clan because I love vampires and although I haven't seen Twilight (or read it) I do plan on seeing it ;) I hereby create The Royal Clan of Gods & Goddesses

Requirements to be a member of The Royal Clan of Gods & Goddesses

1) Must love gods, goddesses and royalty - Kings, Queens, Princes & Princesses
2) Should like anime or manga that features royalty & deities but not an absolute requirement
2) Must not dislike or disparage people who like anime or manga or JPop/JRock
3) To always display noble characteristics: honesty, integrity, consideration, tactfulness, respectfulness, sincerity & helpfulness

Japan has one of the absolute richest collection of deities and related legends & myths (see list of Gods & Goddesses below). Japanse anime & manga heavily feature Gods, Princesses and themes surrounding them.

As for what type of God or Goddess you want to be (or King or Queen) it is up to you. You may take a title or not, identify yourself as ____-Hime or ____-Kami or not - take up an actual God or Goddess and be its embodiment or represent a once ruling King, Queen, Prince or Princess - real or fictional. I highly recommend reading the beautiful stories collected in Ancient Tales and Folk-lore of Japan by Richard Gordon Smith at Ancient Tales and Folk-lore of Japan Index - one of my favorite stories is A Miraculous Sword: Ancient Tales and Folk-lore of Japan: VIII. Aji-Suki-Taka-Hi-Kone - god of thunder
Amatsu Mikaboshi - god of evil
Bishamon - god of happiness and war
Chimata-No-Kami - god of crossroads, highways and footpaths
Hiruko - solar god
Ho-Masubi - god of fire
Inari - god of rice (foxes are his messangers)
Izanagi - creator god
Kagu-Zuchi - god of fire
Kawa-no-Kami - god of rivers
Kura-Okami - god of rain
Nai-No-Kami - god of earthquakes
O-Kuni-Nushi - god of sorcery and medicine
O-Wata-Tsu-Mi - god of the sea

Prince: ouji
Imperial Prince: shinno
Crowned Prince: kotaishi

Princess by birth: oujo / hime
Princess by marriage: ouhi
Crowned Princess (who married the Crowned Prince): kotaishihi

I believe King & Queen are Oh-Oujo-sama and Oh-Hime-sama but not sure.

I thought you ment anything to do with royalty? like "Kyoko the time stranger" wasnt that a royalty manga? i think thats how it was spelled i left it in my other house the one that is actually in the U.S.A.>.> and what if we forget and say something mean shouldnt we appolagize?

The JapanForum Royal Clan of Gods & Goddesses is not at all doomed nor is there any type of rivalry implied. No, indeed, those of the Royal Clan know there is no competition where we are involved. Our very royalty and godliness imply we rule all and are a cut above all the rest. ;) By our godly royal traits & natures we are open, tolerant, accepting and can live and let live.

And no, this needn't be in the anime or manga section simply because a requirement be that you enjoy anime & manga with royalty, gods & goddesses. Japan has one of the absolute richest collection of deities and related legends & myths (see 1st message).

Many anime and manga stories feature themes of royalty, gods & goddesses and I created this clan initially because another clan *cough cough - awesome - cough cough* refused entry to anyone who liked vampires or were fan girls or, gosh forbid, liked anime and manga ;)

I LOVEEEEE Time Stranger Kyoko! Arina Tanemura-sensei is one of my absolute favorite mangaka and her new story in Ribon right now (Sakura Hime Kiden) is sooooooo good!!!

I will be creating some pretty badges for members this weekend and upload them to an official Clan page I will create - will notify you when ready so :)

Time Stranger Kyoko is indeed a royalty manga :) and LOL! yes if you say something mean you should apologize but the point isn't to be a saint ;) don't take the Clan too seriously - we're here to have fun and to *try* to uphold high ideals as best as possible but we're not going to proclaim we're perfect saints ;) heck no - it's too hard to be a saint - even Kings, Queens, Gods & Goddesses have shown their anger and flaws in times of stress and weakness - but what makes them admirable and noble is that they get angry/flawed only with good reason, i.e. for just causes and when/if they do step out of bounds, they own up to it and make amends right away (even if they were justified for being so). Great leaders have always acknowledged when they have made mistakes and accepted responsibility for misdeeds.

Nevertheless, this Clan is mostly for fun and to try and uphold tolerant, accepting and understanding ideals. I will be making some beautiful badges this weekend and will let you know when they are ready if you'd like to join :)

Absolutely - in fact Odin is one of my favorite Norse deities! I loved how he sacrificed so much of himself in order to acquire wisdom and knowledge!
