Your Own Quotes
Well, I had this idea while I was in math class while taking a test,
but don't worry, it has nothing to do with the subject at all, however that may have affected my test grade! :rolleyes: ANYWAY. I like to read, and so I often think back to quotes that sounded interesting in my book, like, for some reason whenever you read them, it sorta means something to you. For example, from Wuthering Heights : "I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas: they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of mind." This quote sounded really artistic to me in a way, and you can actually find it* as my headline on my myspace. Also, I believe in this quote deeply, because I have often had a thought or two about this. *the bolded part But back on to topic, the point I am trying to make is that there are many quotes from books that I have written down someplace because it was special to me. Although, it's not just from other people's writings that I find quotes I like. I don't know why, but a piece of my own writing interested me as well. For example, from a story I've been working on for over a year (and have not had much progress with) : "The words just seemed to fall out of my mouth, as if marbles were on my tongue." Most likely, this won't mean much to anybody else, but the question I have is if anybody else has had a quote that you felt strongly about? It can be from your own writings or from somebody else's, I'm just curious. Thanks for reading! And I apologize, if somebody else had this idea before me, but I searched and didn't find anything similar... so just post the quotes here and where it is from, and maybe the reason to why you like it and such.
