Your Own Quotes

Well, I had this idea while I was in math class while taking a test,
but don't worry, it has nothing to do with the subject at all, however
that may have affected my test grade!

ANYWAY.

I like to read, and so I often think back to quotes that
sounded interesting in my book, like, for some reason
whenever you read them, it sorta means something to you.

For example, from Wuthering Heights :

"I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me
ever after, and changed my ideas: they've gone through
and through me, like wine through water,
and altered the
color of mind.
"

This quote sounded really artistic to me in a way, and you
can actually find it* as my headline on my myspace. Also,
I believe in this quote deeply, because I have often had a
thought or two about this.

*the bolded part

But back on to topic, the point I am trying to make is that
there are many quotes from books that I have written down
someplace because it was special to me. Although, it's not
just from other people's writings that I find quotes I like.

I don't know why, but a piece of my own writing interested
me as well. For example, from a story I've been working on
for over a year (and have not had much progress with) :

"The words just seemed to fall out of my mouth,
as if marbles were on my tongue."

Most likely, this won't mean much to anybody else, but
the question I have is if anybody else has had a quote
that you felt strongly about? It can be from your own
writings or from somebody else's, I'm just curious.

Thanks for reading! And I apologize, if somebody else
had this idea before me, but I searched and didn't
find anything similar... so just post the quotes here
and where it is from, and maybe the reason to why
you like it and such.

Again, thank you!

I made up this quote for my friends

'Death doesn't tell secrets, it tells lies'

Hmm, I'll think of one right now.

"When ever you see the color red seeping out of your clothing, don't worry, your only dying".

I say this because you should not panic when your bleeding to death or else you'll be going into shock and YOU'LL MOST LIKELY DIE!

There that's my quote and reasoning. :D

One that my father taught me, and has stuck with me and become my most cherished advice.

"Do not regret the past. Merely reflect on it."

No words have ever rung true onto my mind since he told me that.

I like that Sal-kun, I like it very much.

My father also gave me a bit of advice myself when I was a child, and I have said it to many others over for years, for it has always rung true.

"Make a friend with pain, and you have a friend for life."

Some may think he was being cold, but I find it to be one of the most priceless things I have ever been told.

It's from a song I was writing...actually is nothing special just in this moment it has some special meaning for me.

"Hypocrisy loves the human soul"

My friend once said, "When there is a frisbee coming at your face... duck."
Or the infamous snicker of high school seniors, followed by the whispered, then yelled, "penis." Talk about the most akward game ever... XD

Okay here's my real quote: "There is always some amount of sadness beyond people's eyes, some just show it more than others. Those that can see it when your smiling and comfort you are your true friends."

I like this, it kinda fits me...since I don't usually show how I feel, my friends get 'vibes' from me when I'm sad or something.
It's like laura had vibes form me before i broke up w/ him...
