I need some advice on how to make it better. |

Umbrella is too small. The shape of your hair clumps are strange. Check this out: LINK Not the greatest tutorial ever. But this person knows how anime hair works. Study that. Practice your clothing more. Sorry I don't have any better advice on that... The only way to improve cloth is to practice. There are hardly any shadows where they should be. Think more about which parts would be in the shade and which would be in the light. LINK (Not really a shading tutorial. But can you see how carefully this artist thought about the lighting?) sorry I can't do a paint-over Justin. This is the best I can give you. Hope it helps. |

@Tsuruneru: Copying is all well and good. But scanners and copy machines can do it better than a human ever can. If you want to work on being an artist or creating your own works, you need to kick your creative muscle into gear and make things for yourself. If you want to draw popular characters, maybe fanart is a good start; stay away from the poses and whatnot that have already been done and are widely distributed, and create your own poses/scenes/costumes for characters. Give it a shot.
@JustinATTACK: Life drawing. Do it. Go forth and learn. |

This is the first time I've ever drawn clothing of any kind, I usually draw abstracts. It's okay I don't need one. It helps tons! |
