Once in a blue moon, i felt semtimental and have a urge to write poems. Hope you guys like them.

Here goes,

Shy

So sweet such is this feeling,
Love and desire so tenderly.
My heart wants to move,
but my mind is timid.
One step, it isn't that bad.
Just one step too much for me.



The shades of life

Life, life, life, such is wonderful life.
Every passing moment is precious.
Every passing moment is pure.

Yet, we live life in its shade of gray,
In its comfort of the known and ordained.
Like a siren song to weary travelers,
We reside our bodies and minds to fate.

Why not live life in its full colors
In its blue hue of the ocean, in its green shades of the grass
In the yellow, the green and the red
In the darkness and the light of life.

Must we do what we think we must.
A cog in the wheel in the great machine
Click and clack our days away
Constantly running for the running sake.

Or we can be what we are meant to be,
To stay true to our souls and bodies
To laugh and cry, love and hate.
To celebrate the full bloom of life.

My beloved


For so long as It may seems,
My love for you endured.
As I longed and as I searched,
What was lost and not to be found.

Yet at last here is my heart,
Thorned and shredded from pieces to pieces.
Why again must I endured,
The heavy load of your love.

Oh life, you are a crude one.
I played the fool and I must pay.
You gave me hope when I didn't need hope,
You gave me despair which I could not bear.

Why must I see what I so dreaded,
The love which was never mine.
So happy and far away
And so close that I can reach.

Your happiness is my joy.
Your happiness is my sorrow.
You are my light of hope.
You are my absolute despondency.
