Hi, I'm new ...some artwork
 

This is my first post here, so I thought I would share some drawings.
I like to draw things I see in magazines that are really small, and make them into larger pictures. Good practice. Here are some from a video game magazine.





This one is a sketch, the product of a very boring night :P But I think he looks cool.

Thanks guys! I wish I could draw more creatively though...I can draw anything I can see, but have trouble making things up (as far as visual art anyway, but I am creative when it comes to writing music). Guess I am getting old lol

Btw... could you post some of the music you wrote? just to compare which is better: your drawings or the music? ^^

I think my drawing is probably better...mainly because I could draw before I could write, and I just started writing music Dec 23rd 2005. But I will let others be the judge of that lol. :cool:

I was torn between using the Hokage from Naruto, or Goku, because DBZ and Naruto are my favoirites. DBZ was the show that got me into anime :) And yeah, I'm a girl haha. Oh, how do you use a custom avatar? I noticed some people have done that. Or do you have to be here a certain amount of time? I am a mod on a forum called youngcomposers, we used to have a rule like that.

Wow.. i love "Sonata no 3 mov 3" and "Reverie no 2", somewhat reminds me about Michael Newmann's work, though, i, personally, would like to hear some more dramatic chords as well... and you've got some serious skills, respect!

I did write a couple preludes that had dramatic, or dark chords... this one, Prelude no. 3, I wrote in my first 3 months of composing, so it really lacks structure, but it was my first "romantic" piece, and was written after a turn down. A bad turn down. haha.

All of the music on soundclick is mp3...or do you mean downloadble mp3s? I haven't copyrighted my music yet, so I don't have any that are public downloads, but if you have a specific song you want to download I can send it to you :)

EDIT: I see on your profile you like martial arts...do you study any specific style? I am a black belt in Taekwondo.

kingkaleigh - I understand that, my brother used to get on my nerves too, but most of the time he was ok.

kingkaleigh and SakuraSan - I have never actually played Oni, so I don't know what it is about. I just thought the girl looked cool :) I'm more into Tom Clancy, or military/spy/cop kind of games in general. Things that make you think and strategize.

I really only play games like Splinter Cell though. Tom Clancy makes great games. The GTA series is pretty cool too, but not as challenging. I will draw anything that looks cool, but it doesn't necessarily mean it is my favorite game. I haven't drawn any Splinter Cell because...it really wouldn't be challenging, he is basically just wearing a black uniform...my black colored pencil is worn to the nub as it is lol :p . I have a Gameboy Advance and I play the DBZ story games. I don't like the fighting games at all (I have a DBZ fighting game on PS2), as a martial artist, they are just too fake. The other game systems I have are PS2 and PSP. Do you play video games? If so, which kind?

The two Zelda drawings were taken from the same source, I just zoomed in on the face a little (that particular drawing was for an art class in high school, I only lasted a week in that class. It was too boring).
