Icons Vs. People behind them
 

Peoples icons always have a large affect on the way I see the person. Thats why I always make sure I know what feeling my icon gives off ^^. I feel like my icon has an air of understanding and timid kindness, which I hope resembles me as a person in some way. But sometimes these things clash. MMM is an understanding and helpful guy, but in his pick he isn't smiling, and agaisnt my better judgement thats always made me see him in a more aggresive light. Just like with ML, her old icon gave off a playful sort of look, and the new one is more calm and subtle, and I feel like I'm seeing two different people. I don't quite understand why it changes things so much for me, but it does. Does anyone else see things this way?

You do know that the guy in MMM's icon isnt him xD

I know ^_^. But just like everything else, the image still affects me...It's because its the only thing I've ever known him as. In other words, if his first image I had seen was a big, cuddly teady bear, I would think of MMM in a totally different way =P.

Oh okay, cause most people think his icon is a picture of him xD


Well, I dont think too much about people's icons. I just think of them as pictures >_>

...Guess I'm just wierd then, neh? Course I already knew that...I'll just add this to my "what makes me wierd" list. *Pulls out a List several feet long and scribbles 'See's icons as extention of self' onto the list* :mtongue:

Haha, I bet MMM is really a 70 year old man..he just doesnt want to tell us.

I thought about changing it, but then it would be kinda like getting plastic surgery...

He's not exactly NOT smiling... but I don't think it looks aggressive.

but... the same with their name and.... powermads pic doesnt really match his name lol

I never quite ment that I ALWAYS think of MMM as that, just when he's saying something wise, as he often does...I think he's like a stern father, teaching his child a lesson...Not that MMM is anything like my dad xD.

Ah, I suppose I should explain this ^_^. I personally put hardly any thought Into my names. Ironic, considering how i was saying I judge people through image >_<. My alternate name is Hex147, but I'd hardly consider myself a curse, or an omen, or anything else in the catagory of a "hex". But there is some truth to my name...I like being well known, as my sig jokingly suggests, so that much is true ^_^.
