Romance books and romance

Ok since i have not seen any threads for this i thought i would make one for the ladies .what is your favorite romance book and author .Also what do you find romantic .

Yuna7780 02-10-2008 05:16 AM

I don't really read romace novels, but my favorite romance manga is Nana. It's very down to earth and realistic. I find that how realistic it is, is why I like it.
I find it most romantic when Nana reunites with Ren, but also the moments when Hachi has her little moments with Nobu. Just the idea with being the one you feel most for is what I love about it.

The Notebook
Malèna
The Heart of Me
The Kite Runner
Fierce People
Water
The Miracle of Morgan's Creek
Buena vida, La
Midnight Cowboy
Earth
Brokeback Mountain (Homosexual Story)

I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain. Just to clarify. I am not into this hip-culture of being emotionally confused and ready tot ry anything.

I love wet cookies and I wouldn't have it otherwise.

A movie that's underrated, however a big hit with women is:
The Motorcycle Diaries

My fave romance books....hm, its more like a series. Love Inspired...they're differnt books by different authors. What I like about them is they don't completely focus on the relationships. Like one book focused on these two people yet revolved around the girl's deaf daughter and how she went through a surgery to get her hearing back.

I love romance :rheart: books. Hmm I don't necessarily have a favorite. I like mostly anything but not those romance books that go over the top in details if you know what I mean.

I think making something romantic from something totally not romantic at all is sweet.

I read a lot. My brother's girlfriend's cousins lent my sisters and me so many romance novels to read. I really like these ones (my favorites):

Two Texas Hearts by Jodi Thomas

Bittersweet Rain by Sandra Brown

The Devil's Own by Sandra Brown

Somewhere to Lay My Head by Lilian Peake

Ruthless Boss, Hired Wife by Kate Hewitt

Love Me Tonight by Nan Ryan
