One with alot of time on his hands, if things get too busy I end up being too stressed so when we meet... I just end up crying and complaining. <- confession. I must also be able to trust this person ALOT... and he's got to be cuddly. That's my list! :lol:

My age is a factor because I just don't share the same interests with most men I meet over 40+. Work, sports, and finance are not my total existence!

But recently a younger friend explained that because I have so many interests and am so open with people, I am intimidating. <sigh> I was not surprised by the assessment because I was told that in my early 20s too, but it really caught me off guard when this person I admire for his own self assuredness felt that way.

Clue: Women who seem intimidating, but not threatening, are usually very easy to get along with once you cross that barrier. We don't have as much baggage and insecurity for you to have to deal with.

Sometimes us girls just have to let down one wall, and let someone through it, hopefully the person we let in won't break our hearts. And even if they do, at least we tasted love and know what we're shooting for.

One of the problems I had for not getting a boyfriend was that I don't really go to parties and had no oppourtunity to find a guy. I'm the person who, if there is any love, believes that it's love at first sight. (I know I'm totally being dilussional) But a girl can hope. And that's another, I've been waiting for a guy to make my heart flutter out of my chest and make my knees weak.
