I think marriage is good for some people but perhaps not others. Me and my boyfriend have talked of marriage as we are both serious about each other and only think of one person when we think of our future; each other. Other people, like some people in my school, probably wouldn't find marriage good for them because they 'sleep around' and they might find it hard to stay with one person. That's just my opinion though...

You're 16.

And you're already talking about Marriage?

That's how most divorces happen.

I would get married when I find the right person and the time comes. To me marriage shows that you want to be with that person for the rest of your life and you love them no matter what happens. This is something I wouldn't mind experiencing.

Lmao, that's so good.

Nobody should even be thinking about marriage, or even children, until they have a steady job with decent pay. If you can hardly support yourself, it's definitely not a good idea. I blame financial pressure for the majority of marital issues, whether this actually be true or not.

You do realize that chances are most of us will get married. Saying "marriage is not for me" is almost like saying "puberty is not for me" or "growing old is not for me". Despite what you think at this moment, chances are you will meet the right person and you will get married.

I agree. It's almost like marriage comes to you instead of you searching for it. If you think you don't want to get married, you'll probably change your mind later, ahah.

I used to think I would never get married. I only saw the bad side because everyone I knew had bad marriages. now I think I would like to get married but I do not think I ever will. I guess I will change my mind when or if I meet the right guy.

The poll is a bit weird, I mean, you don't have to be married to have one person in your life, and just because you are married doesn't mean you are going to have multiple sexual relationships all the time. Same as if your married doesn't mean they are going to be faithful to you...
