Also, not every bodybuilder looks like Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Lee Priest etc. Very few do, actually.

True. To get away from that "skinny boy look" I started bodybuilding many years ago and thankfully I've just kept it at "well muscled" rather than "vein popping, bronze Jay Cutler" style. More power to them for winning gold at comps etc but It's not my thing. A certain cut off point was what I needed and I just maintain what muscle I do have. I've long since said goodbye to my skinny teens. Also, surfing and rock climbing are a good way to workout without the need for expensive gym memberships.

What do I find attractive in guys at first glance, hmmm, good question. Assuming they're not looking at me or specifically smiling.

General posture. You'll get my attention with an upright but not dominant stance more than a round-shoulder sloper or an alpha male chest-thrust and arm swagger.

General appearance; is he scruffy, tidy or quite what? Cheap I will go for but never dirty, careless or inappropriate.

Butt. Not gonna lie, I like my men to have a nice butt.

Other things... Neck line. Forearms. Hard to define, it's not a muscle thing but an aesthetic thing. Does it make a beautiful line or not? Lips, although mouth kind of lumps in with eyes for me. I generally note more about their expressiveness than shape or colour or anything specifically physical.

Looks wise? Kind eyes. Total sucker and they're not always kind too. Bummer.

Also, I like guys that aren't too skinny but aren't chubby/fat either. Like not too muscley either. Normal (like no super abs. that's for the posters!)

Eyes - the darker and less round, the better.
After that, I am another one of those indescriminate women who just look at the whole picture (posture, demeanor, dress, expressions, etc.) and take it from there.

Though when I was a swimming and diving judge, the first thing I noticed was those shoulders flexing in front of me.

Hummm.... good question. Body in general, a toned body and handsome eyes. What I find handsome as an eye color would be green, pale blue, turquoise and of course, dark-brown. In Asian guys, I like cute guys with a small stature.

Good responses ladies. It seems that eyes play an important factor in attraction.

Next question: Would you date your best friend? Or do you think it would ruin a perfect friendship?

I can see how some of the questions asked here could be seen as not age-appropriate for some members....

I personally have dated my best friend ages ago because he admitted that he liked me.. but I didn't end up falling for him in the end so it was left at that. we're still friends up to now but after the short stint we had we no longer kept the best friend thing.. I think most of the time stuff like boy and girl being best friends is just a front. one of them likes the other. :p
