Why does 'Japanese boyfriend' automatically imply that he must live in Japan? If you have a Japanese fetish, there are certainly plenty of Japanese fellows living in the US. Try any city or diverse metropolitan area. New York, Los Angelos, San Francisco, etc. Personally, I think it's a bit immature to choose your lover based on their ethnicity or country of residence, but hey, we all have our opinions. Who knews, you may end up liking someone of an ethnicity you never considered before; you can't control who you fall in love with, anyway.

To answer the topic question, I think long distance relationships could work with a lot of patience and loyalty on both sides. It takes work. Long distance relationships are definitely not for me, though, because quite honestly, I wouldn't have the patience for a love that had absolutely no physical or sexual components.

That was awesomely worded. I could not agree more.

well personaly, idk. long distance relationships can go either way.
its sorta suckish, cuz on one hand if you've never met the person your always wondering if there even real or if there taking the relationship seriously and if the person is cheating on you or already w/ someone. i mean for all you know him and his friends are like messing w/ you and in reality he already has someone. i mean you could just be someone on the side.

then there is always the little possiblity that he really likes you and he wont cheat on you and they idk, you guys meet up and all is good or something. i mean its sorta rare, but it happens where someone meets someone else over the web and it actually works out.

so like i said it can go either way.
