By reading everyone's comments it seems like you guys are talking about 2 different things. Some are talking about an internet relationship where you met online, will probably never meet each other in person and call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Some are talking about a real long distance relationship where there is actual physical contact at some point and it's only a temporary thing in the long run.

The first one will never work and I think is quite stupid and a waste of everyone's time. The second one can work if both parties are up to it but it'll have to be a short lived thing. Obviously you wont be able to make it work with no future plans on moving closer together.

ETA: Though you might be attracted to a certain race/nationality I think it's tacky to advertise that your significant other has to be of that race/nationality. If I was to grow fond of you I would like to know that you like me because of who I am, not just because I'm *insert race/nationality here*.

that's totaly true. i just want to be with a nice kind heart girl that may be close to the area thay one of my family members are like merryland or canada, but iam in florida and thats a far distance between the three . long distance relationships may work out but about the part that you girls like a guy just because he is japanese that only narrow your chances of finding a good guy.

God ok so I met this guy online. I totally like him. then found out he lived in my town. it was weird when i found out. but i still like him!
