i'm not asian descent in the way you're thinking, i.e, chinese, japanese korean, etc...
the term Asian, tchnialy covers a range of nations/religions. inlcluding hinduism. (btw, did you know a variety of martial arts first originated in hinduism and foriegn priests bought its teachings back and built upon it? kind of chocked me the first time i read it. @_@)

Cool! I did Karate too. Shotokan-Karate to be specific. The "katas" were loads of fun to do.
