Forum Junkie Day!
What's Forum Junkie Day you ask? Well it's simple it really doesn't exist! Yet... I think we should have a Forum Junkie Day, a day when as many members get on as possible and post as much as possible. How would you get so many members on? Well I'll tell you... You hold a poll for a some set dates (that the Admin or the Mods think are the best choices) and people vote which day they'll most likely be able to be on... Of course these dates would also need to be dates were all the Mods could be on also... Because tons of spam.... So how about it? Good idea? or not? |

A bunch of members posting as much as possible? About what? If there isn't a topic/discussion to go along with this "Junkie Day" then it will just result in a bunch of spam.
I understand your intentions, but make sure the method is clear, or it'll backfire. |

What's the point? Posting just for the point of posting as much as possible? I don't see any other term how to describe other than just mass spamming... i would definitely not want to be a mod during such scenario.

That's a neat idea.....but I'll feel sorry for the mods.....It's bad enough that they have to try and maintain the forum as spam free as possible, but to actually have them watch over a ton of people at the same time is definitely a handful.....But still I like the idea.

Finally, I will get to the Final Point since many people can not understand it. The point is on all Forums they have a thing that says "Most Forum Members Ever On" (Something like that I think it really is: Most Members On: Oh well...) and it usually has a certain number. The point is to increase these numbers dramatically. Now I know that this would be a troublesome day for all Moderators, but I think that our Forum members are civilized enough to not Spam the entire time.
P.S. Mod's (Especially you Kanji cause you're been paying attention to this thread more than other mod's) you can delete this thread now if you don't like it that is. |

And gathering members online for a half an hour is by far not as devastating, as to ask them to spawn new posts at incredible speed X) Still, i do not see ho increasing the "Most users ever online" count could improve anything in the work of this website... btw, since this is a dedicated forum, administrator should have direct access to the forum database and he is able to change this number to whatever he likes... X) |

An admin can change it by simply typing the number he wills of course. However, as i understand, MazarDantechildofdevil doesn't care that number despite he referred to it in his "final point explanation". He's just been seeing such activities around and he thought it could be fun to try it out here. I think the primal point is around a challenge which can only be beaten by our "combined effort", just to have some fun. On the other hand, I say "I'm on it!"

hmmm.... i used to frequently visit another forum but it seems to be so crowded
page load have become so annoying i think the most member they got online at the same time is around 5kXD |
