option to stay logged in

more than once I've been logged out, and lost the text I had already typed, because what I was doing took a while.

It's very frustrating.

There already is one. That's why I'm on 24/7.

I stay logged in because I hit the 'remember me' button *shrugs* I stay logged in cus no one else accesses my computer account to log me off

Don't clear your cookies. If you feel you must, then either deal with logging back in or don't clear this site's cookies.

could just be a problem with your computer. or you're using a public computer and it's set to wipe the cookies/cache at regular intervals. There's also the possibility that it's just the way you're browsing that causes you to log out when you change the page to post, and hitting refresh.

Either way this isn't a problem exclusive to the forum, just to you and maybe a select few.

I tried doing that, it didn't do any good.

How do I have it so cookies aren't cleared? (I'm on my own comp)

Depends on the browser you're using. Generally it's Tool > options and then you have to find the option from there.
