Technical Questions Section
 

I'm not exactly the most forum or computer literate person. It would be nice to have a special section to ask dumb technical questions such as how to upload things in signatures (pics and such) or how to change that subtext beneath our screen names (where mine currently proclaims that I'm new) etc. etc.

Just a thought.

i think JF is kinda like the G4 forums where the more you post and what not you kinda "level up" till the point of such things

Well, I'm aware that custom avatars require 25 posts. I suppose some of the other things do too. But I'm just so bad with HTML and other such things...

agreed on thepoint that we needed this thread thank you for it. I was thinking we have needed this for awhile now. Never know where to post the WHAT THE HECK IS THIS type of questions .. lol

You need to log out then log back in again.

Aha! Of course, now I'm at work. I'll upload at home. I did log out there and log back in with no difference, but now apparently it's okay.

How do I make the image in my signature show up? D:

Well, I clicked your link and copied the URL and then added the image tags like this:

[img]insert url here[/img]

So, just click the link in your siggy and copy THAT url and then go back into your profile and delete whatever you have and try it my way.

Hope that helps. I'm not exactly the best at this stuff.
