Hello all, this is my first post on Japan forum. I am soon getting a civilian job working on f-15's at kadena afb in okinawa. I have seen a few pics on here of osaka and tokyo i was wondering if anyone could give me some info on okinawa and maybe some pics of places there, and maybe also some info on where the good places to visit are.

And also what should i expect when i get there, what to do with my time, and what to expect from the people there. Any info you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated, and i am very happy to be visiting i'm super excited, japan looks like a beautiful and peaceful place to be.
