[Alastor]

Haven't seen any episodes yet but I'm fairly confident that, to me, the anime will be on par with the last two DMC games (not counting the fourth instalment). In other words, inferior to the first game. I don't know why, but I can't understand why people are so infatuated with the third game when it bears very little resemblance to the first one. On a whole, maybe, but it's the details that seperates the two titles.

DMC3 doesn't take itself seriously. It should, because the serious, frightening parts of DMC was what made it so good. From looking at the trailer, I can see it's going to be lots of joking, fooling around, shooting and slashing and blood and guts and... no actual depth.

But, let's hope I'm very wrong ^_^
