I would talk to an adisor our counselor at your school. Someone there should know that information, and if your school as established relationships with a school in Japan.

Let me say this much. Unless your Japanese is really good, I think it might be a, franky, difficult and maybe depressing experience. Japanese high school is VERY different from American high school. Personally, I would recommend looking at a college exchange program where you could be taking classes in English.

I have hosted exchange programs for 3 week trips, and after a day and a half of classes in Japanese (with American students who had studied Japanese 2 to 4 years) they had enough of Japanese high school classes.

Student-teacher interaction in minimal in class. Most classes are taught like lectures.
