. I can't say I can recall any of Newbold's music
nor have heard Yoyo Ma(?) play any cello pieces... my favourite pianist is among the obvious ones: Zimmerman, Horowitz and those pop ones :P (may have spelt names wrong also). Ah, yeah I loved Beethoven's 5th... erm I would have to say my most desirable orchestra piece is either Grieg's concerto for piano 1, Chopin's concerto for piano 1, Rachmaninoff's concerto 2 and 3... (I've probably missed some other ones I equally like but they are the ones which spring instantly to mind)... but Baroque wise I would definitely recommend to everyone "Violin Concerto in A minor - BWV 1041 - 01 Allegro" (I'm starting to think another whole thread should be devoted to classical music itself :P)
