for the record, i don't particularly like the education methods used in Japan, having studied with japanese students not just in 'gaijin' classes the method of teaching is very different from that used in australia and i found myself hitting a wall with many of the teachers who refused to accept opinions outside of their own thoughts, especially my teacher for the UN relations classes i took.. my god, she actually told us NOT to research for our end of semester paper and refused to accept anyone's paper that had researched.[/quote]

I don´t know about the methods in japan, but I think it depends on the teacher, cause I had one teacher which said everything which wasn´t in her history book (the book was about 20years old) is wrong and i only got bad grades from her I like to see how it´s in japan, a friend from japan said i could come for a few weeks to him and watch some days in school Maybe it´s funny to watch lessons^^

When do you think people die?

When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol?
No.

When they are ravaged by an incurable disease?
No.

When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom?
No!

It's when... they are forgotten.
