here is a recipe for chilli beef ramen
beensprouts, noodles (ramen) or thin wheat noodles, sirloin steak 2cm thick, vegetable oil, teriyaki sauce, chicken stock, spring onions, red chilli, small amount of red onion, lime...use a small amount of ingredients for 1 person
boil water and cook beansprouts for 10 seconds, strain and reserve water to cook noodles in for 2-3 minutes or until just tender (both beansprouts and noodles need to be rinsed under cold water - done seperately)
heat frying pan until hot (medium heat) lightly rub steak with oil and fry on either side for 2 mins (medium rare) or longer depending on how you like it, remove and brush with teriyaki sauce, keep meat warm and let it rest for a couple of mins then slice it on the diagonal
heat stock and add some extra chilli sauce if you wish or fish sauce etc
put noodles in bowl, ladel over noodles and top with beef, beensprouts, spring onion, sliced chilli, red onion and a piece of lime (if you do not like chilli then just leave them out) this dish is so versatile you can swop ingredients as you wish
Enjoy!!
