There is one anime I think everyone should watch, but I don´t think anyone has mentioned it yet here...
TANOSHII MOOMIN IKKA/ MUUMILAAKSON TARINOITA/ MUMINDALEN
It´s a finnish-japanese-animation series, based on Tove Janssons (finnish-swedish) Moomin-novels.

Muumimamma - Moominmamma
Muumipappa - Moominpappa
Nuuskamuikkunen - Snufkin
Pikku Myy - Little My
Niiskuneiti - Snork Maiden
Nipsu - Sniff
Hattivatit - Hattifatteners
Hemuli - The Hemulen
Mörkö - The Groke
I´ve watched the series about a million times, it was the first animation I saw when I was little. And I still can´t get enough of them! My scout-group is called Hattivatit (Hattifatteners) : )
So if you haven´t seen this anime, you really should watch. So lovely.
