Hey there, MMM... You seem to be omnipresent around JF. I've just found out about this forum, and it's been quite fun.
Actually, I started google'ing japanese-related social websites since I finally realized I'm about to get accepted by the MEXT and Kyoto University as a grad student.
The final answer is getting closer and closer, and so is the expected date of departure. Even though I can't really explain why, I'm a little scared!
And I don't even know what to ask! Is Kyoto a nice city? Will I have a social life? Will I be an "outcast" for not being 日本人? If I forget to use honorific forms of speech am I gone get killed? Is it gonna be cool?
(hmm... ignore the part about getting killed)
