Jasmine and Pouchong have long been my favorites, though I am developing a taste for boricha, but I don't really think of these as Japanese teas. I keep keep sencha, bancha and a little bit of matcha in the house. They are not what I go to first for drinking, but there are some foods that just seem to pair well with them for me. Sort of like some people pair wines.
