I have been living in Tokyo for 2 years, so I can there are many places to visit. I would recommend Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara to start with.
Well I don't know your tastes so I also maybe you should check this
Tokyo | Explore Japan | Japan-i there is nice place to visit organized by cities, it's quite well done.
