Ichiro is simply amazing. My favorite MLB player - although Matsui is probably a better guy to have a beer with.

Either way, Ichiro will go on to become the first asian born player to be inducted into the baseball hall of fame. A huge accomplishment for a guy who's accomplished so much in the MLB.

I only wish that he's able to retire with a world series ring. The Mariners are showing signs of improvement so there's some hope. If not, I'm sure the Yankees would be more than happy to have them as their lead off hitter. I can honestly see him playing in pinstripes but they'll probably get him as he's on the decline - just like they did with Damon, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemens, etc.
