hmm, I was in such a situation like this before..but I didn't hide anything..infact I kept telling everyone about my interests,Now I have a really big group of friends because of that XD, I think you should tell your friends too..because if you don't, it would look like you are pretending nothing less,REAL FRIEND LIKES FOR WHOM YOU ARE
