Depending on your PC or Mac edition, you can find a pack online, like this one I used
Microsoft XP Japanese Pack. You can then write by using the program to translate romaji to hiragana/katakana/kanji. It's pretty cool! :P You don't need to cut or paste anything, it's like regular typing.
