start by learning the language, and becomes fluent enough I guess...then apply for japanese citizenship haha...not really sure myself but thats what I'm guessing you have to do
would also recremend living there for a while before you decide to live there forever...seems silly to make such a dramatic change when you might not even like the place as much as thought you would
