I agree.. although children at their developing stage learn faster .. but yes you can learn the language anytime.. its up to your interest to learn the language. I was already 25 when I was really serious in my study. Still a long way to go especially with reading and writing Kanji.
but I can say I am fluent enough to talk with Japanese people and ask for direction lol
