I personally do not know the answer to this. My japanese friend definitely believes that plants Do have feelings-- I simply do not Know at all.

When trees are cut down or have branches removed etc theysay that they scream. Why do some people believe that plants thrive when humans speak to them.

I wondered about Bonsai being trained as they are and miniaturised.

someone mentioned FISH. but fish are not plants.

I do know that I am hopeless at looking after any plants-- but I do appreciate nature and Bonsai is fascinating.

when I said HAPPY I guess I meant that if the tree was not happy it would not flourish. It would not survive.

I don't mean ha ha happy------------but say " not distressed!" I truly do not know at all.

Some people have green fingers-- is that because they learn correctly how to care for the plants-- yet someone like myself-- who often means DEATH to an indoor plant--am ignorant
or even simply :Lazy.
