I think Masaegu's point was that there are different words for "British", "English", "Welsh", "Scottish", and "Irish" in Japanese, and therefore complaining that you are annoyed because Japanese doesn't make a distinction between "British" and "English" is just a severe misconception arising from your limited vocabulary instead of any fault of the Japanese language. Or, as he put it succinctly:
