actually, i didn't mind the english dub of Akira that much. though, my reasons are that some words weren't actually changed. for instance, in the japanese version, he says a certain swear word, but it sounds like another, so they leave it in in the english one and change the english subtitles. and let's face it, Tetsuo's voice DID make him sound crazy, which it was supposed to do

i like the Ghost in the Shell and IGPX voice casting. but then, IGPX was made specifically for Toonami, so i'd assume they'd have only the best on that.
