is there any official Manga Timeline? - 06-12-2008, 02:51 AM

in US comic scenes we have the timeline/era call like : Golden Era of Superheroes, Silver Era, Bronze Era etc.

Is there such a thing in Japanese Manga? what is the aspect to distinguish between the era, is it the story or the art aspect?

I very much like manga of the era like :
Yoko Shoji (Popcorn/Seito Shokun!),
Yumiko Igarashi (Candy Candy),
Michiyo Akaishi (Ten yori mo Hoshi yori mo, Alpen Rose),
Kimiko Uehara's
Ranma 1/2,
Dragon Ball,
Ironfist Chinme,
Tetsuya Chiba's,
saint seiya,
Yu Asagiri's,
Kenji (Ryuichi Matsuda & Yoshihide Fujiwara),

do you know which era these comics belong? all of these manga was translate to Indonesia around 1990's.
