Exclamation hiya micron pen users? - 02-28-2009, 03:38 PM

have any of you ever used micron pens? I had some but since i go to a school with some bad stupid kids, they were stolen. But before then, those pens worked wonders! I am dying to get some more, but i will eventruly. So tell me about you experices with these magical pens. Did they make you inking alot more ez-er?

first time I heard about micron pens.. what about it?

i actually own a set of them and 2 .005's. they are amazing. good for small lines and cross-hatching. if you look on ebay they sell them for 3 to 4 dollars each.

The 005 pens aren`t actually .005 - they`re 0.20.

I don`t actually have any of the Micron brand, but I do have multiple pens inside that range - the finest being 0.15. Japan seems to have a larger variety of fine pens than I`ve seen elsewhere.

But I never use them for inking - only writing. For inking it`s a G-pen or if I`m in a hurry a sign pen (brush tip).


If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

micron pens r like good for inking and what not. 2 draw fine lines for manga. It's like a mangaka's dream pen!^_^

i just go with the 005 and 05 scale, but there really great pens
