what anime should i watch? manga should i read?

well, i don't know what to read or watch.
can anyone recommend anything to me?
it can be a manga or an anime. dont matter.

i like ones about teenages.. or love.. or fighting. i like many kinds. like shojo and shonen.

and can you explain about the storyline a bit too. please and thank you
