Well I think nest one near dallas is sometime nest year...Sorry.
But if you are willing to make the drive there is the Oni-Con in Huston at the end of october. It's worth the trip if youa re interested.

Go to this website and you should be able to find all of the anime-cons going on in america...AnimeCons.com: Convention Schedule

Oh and I just found out that they are having one in Fort worth sometimes in November. That's a little closer to you.

HaHa I know what you mean.
If you're on a budget I would suggest going to the fortworth con.
It's closer so less money on gass, if you find a cheap hotel/motel you can save plenty of money, instead of staying at the hotel the con id being held.
And I would suggest trying to bring a friend with you who would split the price of gas/food/hotel with you, that way you save even more money..

No problem.
I'm like the god of living on a budget..(went three months eating instant ramen to save money once)
So I have a ton of little tips.

Well Real Ramen Is the best.I love that stuff.
Instant ramen used to be good. Now I hate it though.Haha
If you want to try some though
they are only like 90 cents a bag, at almost any store.
