Hmm good question ! :P
Not sure why but i really like Nausicaa: Of the Valley of the Wind
Was a great film . I have seen a lot of the others but sadly not most of them
After watching Kiki's Delivery service i swear they are like the Disney of Japan

Hotaru no Haka (Fireflies' grave)
I remember watching it in my first weeks in Japan. And although I didn't understand that much, I was deeply moved.

I also love Mononoke Hime, but I think all Ghibli Movies are great and fun to watch!!

I've never seen Nausicaa! I want to so bad! During a research project I found out that it was one of the most influential animes of all time!

grave of the fireflies is definitely worth-watching...at least, this is an anime that seems closer to reality (life in post-war Japan) than the usual anime films....

hmm, so nausiaca is also good? i should better watch it then...but any hint on what this movie is all about? pls post it here...cuz' i'm too lazy to check it out elsewhere...

Japan does not understand very well that one of its proudest cultural achievements is in film--- Akira Kurosawa

Grave of the Fireflies is a Miyazaki movie?! I had no idea, but it makes sense, because the animation is his style. Wow never realized it before.
