Do you attend anime conventions?

I usually hit up Otakon, but I missed it this year. My boss wouldn't give me the weekend off. I was sooooo tempted to call in to spite him.

yeah...me too. this year was my first year back to any given convention since I did my first con...I think that was back in...well, somewhere around 2001-2003

I go to A-Kon~ This year will be my 4th time going. I loved the first year more than the last 2, but I enjoyed the last one so much because of AnCafe

a lot of costumes can be found online too. I was actually browsing Cosplay Magic yesterday...

...my mom made my Rinoa costume, and I bought my shinigami outfit at A-Kon.

they get hella expensive though. the prices you'll see at cosplay magic are typical. you might be better off making your own and buying any oddball pieces that can't easily be made, if you can!
