His real name isn't Jesus... It's a mistranlation... And I'm muslim too, and with you being a muslim I'm sure you would know that in the Qur'an it doesn't say "Jesus". It says Isa.

His real name is Yeshua. He was Jewish, and therefore the original language of the bible was Hebrew (which you might call the Jewish language). When it was translated into greek soon after, they mistranslated his name, and then from greek+hebrew to english, they mistranslated again...

Yeshua means Salvation and/or Lord who is salvation. Are you telling me that in english jesus means Salvation? or that most english speaking christians even know what his name meant?

Unless you read the bible in Hebrew, I wouldn't sound as confident as you're sounding.

Did you even read anything I said? I didn't say jesus meant salvation. I said Yeshua meant salvation.

And who might "they" be? I honestly think you're confused... They didn't make a "new" bible. A lot of the bible has been distorted but it isn't a "new" bible. And even if it was a "new" bible, do you really think they would change the name of their messiah???

I'll say it again... Jesus' real name is Yeshua. It was translated from Hebrew to Greek, and the translation was Iesous (Greek hasn't got the equivalent letter for Y). From Greek to latin, they mistranslated again and called him Iesus. In latin, the letter "I" can have both the sound of an "i" or a "j". So when it was translated from Latin to english, it was assumed that it was the sound of "j". Therefore, they mistranslated it and called him Jesus.

Better now? If you don't understand and you speak Arabic, I'll write and explain it to you in arabic.

Yes the name is not the main thing here, he is a blessed prophet of Allah.
he is the Messiah.

anyway, I became Muslim because I wondered where the ustice of this world was, no human made law is just, so I thought there must be an Almighty supreme law that is flawless, i started to see the signs in Allahs creations and i looked into islam...

after reading a lot i couldn't deny it was the truth, though i tried really hard to fight it, i couldn't lie to myself, cos then I would be the one who ould lose in the end....
so i took my shahadah alhamdulillah.

There are a few mosques here and there, mainly in tokyo, though i would love to go to one one day insha'Allah. There are a few Muslim Japanese women I know I have seen them on youtube and I have a friend who is a Japanese married to a Pakistani Muslim and she converted.

my parents are buddhist, insha'Allah they get hidayah and accept islam.
