My friend is a Chinese-American. No matter how much I ask her, she won't let me hear her speak Chinese. She is fluent in English and Chinese. ^_^

Really? That's interesting because it's a phenomenon that I'd expect to see more in Japanese-Americans than Chinese-Americans.
