it means differently if you were to say it in a sentence, ppl will understand. but both these sounds (tones) are the same.

Learning chinese ain't easy! It's a tone language and I would advice you to attempt a language course with a teacher who speaks your mother tounge otherwise it's going to be too hard, unfortunately. But I whish you good luck with it, chinese is going to give you good chances in your job cause China will play a leading role in economy in future.
