I'm native in American Chicago English.
But, I can speak normal American English.
Oh, and I know quite a bit of German.
And Japanese, not as much as my Germany though.
I wanna work on Polish though.
So many of 'em around here...

My native language is German and hell am I glad, that I havent' to "learn" it XD must be difficult...
Because I'm originally Swiss, I also spek "Swiss German" which is quite different to German itself...
Then, I speak (or try to ) Spanish, English and French.. ah and I had Russian lessons for a half year, but I hardly remember more than a few words and unnecessary stuff... the same with Japanese.. >-<""

Yeah, German's kinda hard.
But I HATE trying to understand
someone talking Swiss German or
even Austrian German.
It sucks.

haha, I can truely understand that, must be hard, if someone talk Swiss German with you, when you have learned "normal" German.. especially becuase of the many different dialects...

I have to say, that I sometimes have problems too with understanding Austrian German...

but I think with a lot of patience and practise one can learn to understand Swiss German easy

Haha yeah, but I've almost NEVER heard Swiss
German, only once. At a restaurant.
I hear mostly Bayerisch,
from my friend and his Mom.
Haha

I wish my native language wasn't English...
