I think this picture is one of the most iconic pictures for countless reasons.

They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!

Actually you know what your right im glad you posted it. Unfortunately some wankers have used that pic and spread it over the internet in a not so good way. Which is what came to my mind when i saw it and got a little bit touchy. But you did the right thing and this is the sort of topic for which an image like that should be used because thats what it is an "Iconic Image". Im glad you posted it.

Are you talking about Carter's shot?

Because at first I thought you meant the one with the Twin Towers and how New Yorkians might take an offense to it.

Carters shot. It was turned into a "demotivator" by some dickhead. So i get "touchy" when i see it on a forum or something. But you used it in a good way. I just didnt thiink about it before i posted. + it says you know the story. Some people post it without knowing anything (which is bad).

I see. I never knew that picture had been spammed through the Internet. Actually we talked about it in class about two years ago because we were discussing photojournalists that had won the Pulitzer Prize and stuff. We were all pretty shocked when our teacher told us the story; did you know that they even carried out an investigation to find out what happend to the poor child after he snapped the photo? Carter was blamed for not taking her to a hospital where she could have been taken care of, and also, some say that he was actually hoping she'd die and the vulture would tear her flesh off her bones, and that this one's the shot he was after =/ that's probably why he killed himself, I couldn't have lived with that either.
