I'd say the original term "newbie" is as you said it was but n00b has so many more definitons. Hell, if you're pissed at someone for taking too long in the bathroom.. just throw a "n00b" in there. Tension gone!
Also, there's fr00bs and Nubbertons and Nubile Nublets, which is all pretty Nubtastic grammar really.
Well, you can call someone a potato, but that does not change the original meaning of the word, now does it? X)
But yeah... all multiplayer games are filled with n00bs, although as paradoxical it might not be, it's usually the most generous givers of this label who are the biggest n00bs themselves

I think the original meaning of the word is just like "newbie", don't you?
Anyway, the biggest problem for me are "blocking noobs". I must shout that at people who get in my way while i'm busy shooting someone!

hahah. I like this. Being the grammar guy I am, I'm thankfully never pinned as one of these "creatures". Nice guide.

Nothing is more interesting than...Noob smex. If you hang around sites like Gaiaonline, then you'll see a lot of that. It's quite sad to watch. Let me sum it up for you:
Misspelled words, No movement, massive lack of creativity, and crying afterward.

Happiness is just a word to me, and it might have meant a thing or two if I had known the difference

Loneliness, another parody, and my life another smoking gun, a sign of my indifference

Man, if this article had a section on mating rituals it could be one of those nature documentaries.
